How to Use Your Rydir Band®
The Rydir Band is a versatile, stretchy knit band designed to keep your tote securely attached to your carry-on — so it stays put, clean, and exactly where it belongs while you travel.
We recommend putting the Rydir Band on before you start your travel day, but it can be slipped on at any point during your journey.
Why It’s Better Than a Travel Belt
Travel belts can pinch leather and snag delicate materials — not the way most people like to treat their precious bags.
The Rydir Band is different:
-
Faster on and off — no buckles or clips to adjust
-
Takes up almost no space — packs completely flat
-
Works across bags — totes, backpacks, purses, and more
-
Looks intentional, not improvised — clean, streamlined, and discreet
It does everything a luggage strap does — without looking or feeling like one.
How to Use It While Traveling
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare Your Tote
Place your tote on a stable surface — a table or directly on top of your carry-on suitcase.
Hold the Rydir Band with both hands. There’s no designated top or bottom, so you can use it in any orientation.
2. Slip It Over Your Tote
Stretch the Rydir Band and pull it over your tote bag.
Think of it like putting on a circle scarf or gaiter — simply stretch and slide it down to cover your bag.
3. Adjust for Your Needs
Some travelers prefer to leave part of the tote’s top exposed for easy access, while others pull the band further up for added security and coverage. Adjust it to suit your travel style.
Once in place, roll hands-free — your tote stays secure, clean, and stable as you move through the terminal.
Remove & Care for Your Band
When you arrive at your destination, simply remove the Rydir Band and store it in your Rydir pouch. When you’re home, toss it in the wash. Wash cold, air dry, and it’s ready for your next trip.
Designed Simple. On Purpose.
The Rydir Band solves a surprisingly common travel problem with a design that adds no bulk — only ease.
Once you use it, you’ll never travel without it.
